Just home after a wonderful experience with the Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra. Two concerts with this wonderful orchestra, great 
players and a marvellous vocalist Stacey Nattrass. Mostly material from the cd An Icelander at Alhambra Palace but also other tunes by me and others.

Just finished a recording session with Vikivaki the Icelandic improvisational folk band... a lot of fun with great players, Ásgeir 
Ásgeirsson guitar and szas, Gunnar Hrafnsson bass, Ragnhildur Gunnarsdóttir trumpet and flugelhorn, Jóhann Hjörleifsson drums and singer Erla Stefánsdóttir.

Volcanic stuff!
Just played a powerful concert consisting of compositions by Icelandic tenor saxophonist Joel Pálsson arranged by our 
piano player Kjartan Valdemarsson. The roof barely stayed on Silfurbergs Harpa Concert House. Congrats to Joel and Kjartan and the Reykjavik Bigband. Hope we'll do this again soon. The band will be recording this in beginning of june.
